The theory and method are proposed, by which wind acceptance index of provincial grid can be calculated, and then optimization scheduling model which coordinate power grid scheduling plan with accept ability of wind power is constructed, thus realizing the coordinated operation of the conventional power and wind power is realized, reducing the impact of wind power to the grid, and making the calculated results more accurately reflect the actual acceptance of wind power.
